Why I love my Danny Hess handplane

Nice, simple video pointing to the joys of riding waves sans surfboard. Ever since I got a handplane… I’ve managed to find the barrel. Get out there… you don’t need a board to get massive joy from waves.

The above image is one of the most descriptive images I’ve ever seen. It captures the essence of surfing… the glide, the joy, the beauty, the intimacy, the colors. I love this image.
It reminds me of one of my favorite Ron Stoner photos.
