The recent offshore drilling rollbacks (which we’re fighting) are engaging people from every walk of life.
Below are recent works from Sandow Birk and Elyse Pignolet. These monolithic sculptures were made with found objects from SoCal beaches (check the plastic dolphin beach toy in lower right photo). They have been shown in LA and Phoenix museums and are going to be shown this summer at the Long Beach Museum of Art.
