  1. This is a really interesting vid – Todd’s denial of the impact and presence of plastics in our oceans is very primitive. Man up Todd. Congrats to Chad for presenting a calm, reputable and approachable counter chat. He represents the issue very well, and obviously has a solid argument. I also like the uncovering of the detail under changes in policy of single-use plastics, and seeing the other side of the fence. Also interesting the different levels of the campaign approach .. from the Top down to the consumer, through policy change, then the business, then the individual, and Secondly, from the Bottom up, get the community in and work up through businesses individually. Also talks about a side-ways approach – Individual Only – the problem being Littering and litterers, and higher fines for the individual that lets the plastic bag “escape”. Which method would be most effective … another argument in itself.
Classic quote/argument from Todd – “It rains a lot in Oregon and paper bags don’t hold up in rain”, Nice try Todd? Listening to Gus vs Todd is like listening to a Phd Doctorate in Environmental Science or plastics vs. a .. vs a Car-salesman.
