Bad craziness in the Gulf Coast: Setting the sea on fire

Anytime I hear things like “The Coast Guard is preparing to set the ocean on fire” I get concerned.
Containment of the recent Gulf spill isn’t working.
The spill is now thousands of square miles in size. So… let’s set it on fire. Um. What!?

Do you remember the Timor Sea oil spill last year?
Well, here comes another disaster… this time on U.S. soil… ‘er waters.
So far the spill covers an estimated 817 square miles.
Offshore drilling is not the answer.
